Sport

Funding is available under the Sport Action to support grassroots activities.

This Action is a centralised action run by the European Commission’s Executive Agency. The Call for Proposals and Erasmus+ Programme Guide detail programme and application information for the Sport Action. For more information on the application process, go to our How to Apply section.

Centralised Activities

Support will be provided to organisations active in the field of sport to tackle cross-border threats to the integrity of sport (doping, match-fixing, violence, intolerance, discrimination), promote good governance in grassroots sport, support dual careers for athletes and provide equal access to sport for all.

  • Collaborative Partnerships in the field of sport
  • Non-Profit European Sport Events
  • Activities to strengthen the evidence base for sport policy making
  • Dialogue with relevant European Stakeholders.

The European Commission is holding a Sport Infoday in Brussels on 4 February 2014 to to inform potential applicants about the funding opportunities available for sport under the new Erasmus+ programme.
